Since the North Sea Jazz Festival moved from The Hague to Rotterdam in 2006, the Festival organises a design contest among students of the Willem de Kooning Academy. The works of all finalists will be on display during the festival in Ahoy. This way North Sea Jazz provides a platform for young talent. In 2016 I created a whole series for the festival, one of these posters made it to the final selection.
