Wytiki is the stage name of the Amsterdam musician and songwriter Wieteke Wijte. After a long time writing and making music in the background (with Eefje de Visser and DeWolff, among others) she now steps forward with her own sound and voice.
Her music shows a quirky balance between digital and analogue, openly flirting with artists such as Robyn, Radiohead and Bon Iver. She seeks out illustrious confrontations and gives her emotions an effective sound. The message hidden in this is that nothing is perfect and beauty can be found in the place that rubs.
